Based on a number of classic sources, students will examine aspects of the Prophet’s mission, message, and being. This playlist also extracts lessons and themes from the Prophetic mission that are relevant for our lives, days and time.
Taught in Madinah, Shaykh Hamza Yusuf first introduced his English translation of this celebrated poem on the blessed life of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. Written over 400 years ago by the noble and erudite scholar, Shaykh 'Abd al-'Aziz al-Lamti, this poem eloquently honors the life, qualities, and countless virtues of the Messenger of God (God's peace and blessings be upon him). Shaykh Hamza Yusuf's moving commentary of this didactic gem will surely engender a greater love for The Beloved ﷺ.

Taken from authentic hadith and Quran as a The Prophetic life ﷺ is analyzed from the time of Jahaliya in the Arabian Peninsula, the youth of the Prophet, his life with Sayeda Khadija, Revelation of Quran and teaching it to others. Then the declaration of Islam of respected people in the community with the hijra into East Africa in year 5 of revelation. Concluding with al-Isra and al-Miraj.
