The Sunnah of Decision Making

Shaykh Yahya Rhodus

In the Qur’an, Allah tells us that He created death and life “that He may try which of you is best in deed.” How then can we strive to make our deeds pleasing to our Creator? This course will provide an analysis of the process of our actions. First, we will examine the evaluation of acts and the centrality of intentions. Then, during the act itself, what states of the heart are required, and finally, we’ll look at the appropriate states related to the completion of an act. With this exhaustive look at deeds, each of us will be better equipped to examine and perfect our actions and, God-willing, do that which is most pleasing to our Lord.
